And before I get any further, although I already had a Brother Innovis NV400 (A Babylock Melody for the US peeps) I swear, it is pure coincidence that I ended up with another Brother sewing machine. It took me close to a year of research to come to my decision to purchase this particular machine. Also can I start by saying I love all sewing machines big and small! Please note that I’m in New Zealand, machine availability and prices over here are a little different than other countries, and I hope I have the right information for some of the other machines I mention, apologies up front if I’ve misinterpreted their websites.
I’ve never been asked to do anything like this before so it was certainly a challenge for me to even know where to begin.īefore I go through all the ins and outs, pros and cons of the machine, firstly I wanted to share with you why I chose this machine to begin with. I place a lot of trust in the reviews my friends give but always remember a machine is just about as personal as a spouse! I do this before even thinking about what I want to get. I know that when I am thinking about a new machine the first thing I do is talk to my friends about what they are using and loving ( or not loving).
